If you want beautiful stairs build by a true, creative professional, Tom is your guy. I cannot say enough about him. He is prompt, honest, professional, efficient and just a really nice person. On top of all of that, he builds BEAUTIFUL stairs. They are stunning. He took my poorly worded vision and created an artistic centerpiece in our home. I will be posting pictures soon but wanted to post my resounding recommendation as soon as possible!

Tom builds BEAUTIFUL stairs at a fair price. Our contract is to remove the old carpet, overlay the existing stairs with hardwood, cut open on one side of the stringer of the stairs, install new hand rail and wood balusters. Tom did an excellent excellent job. Our stairs not only look a lot more beautiful now, it is also very sturdy.

We contacted the California Fine Stairbuilding to do railing and baluster work on our newly added deck and curved staircase. Tom, the owner, who also did the work, helped us finalize the design and worked out every detail; he discussed with us every possible solution - communication was excellent. He was very reliable, as well: started when he said he would, and finished the job in the time frame he gave us . The work included some rather complicated free form curve railing on the stairs that required creating a custom made shape. Tom did a great lob - the result was just beautiful; even the architect who did the plans for our addition was very impressed . We get many compliments on Tom's work from friends and family and we love the way the deck and stairs look .
